Şener Soytekin hit a great ball. After the first half Şahmat Donetsk were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Şener Soytekin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Arif Oğuz Saruhan made a huge save. In the 60th minute Yusuf Uluçam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Oğuz Saruhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Oğuz Saruhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arif Oğuz Saruhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamit Acabay, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şener Soytekin got free with Arif Oğuz Saruhan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Arif Oğuz Saruhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 95 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Arif Oğuz Saruhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şener Soytekin. When the match was over Şahmat Donetsk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Beşiktaş throughout the match.
