In the 74th of the match, Björn Stenström tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Angelo Peruzzi got in the way and made a wonderful save. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Eşref Vahapoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alperen Ceri fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Büyük Vakıf Spor61's protests and gave Alperen Ceri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, one of Büyük Vakıf Spor61:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Büyük Vakıf Spor61. 82 minutes into the game, Björn Stenström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Angelo Peruzzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angelo Peruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Stenström, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
