The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filipp Bernikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enginalp Muhsin got free with Veysel Sanat in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enginalp Muhsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Veysel Sanat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kutlay Hamurcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhittin Akgündüz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Enginalp Muhsin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Veysel Sanat firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cemalettin Yetişen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Afşar Rıfat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Filipp Bernikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veysel Sanat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's Veysel Sanat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipp Bernikov in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Black Stockings FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cemalettin Yetişen came free, but Afşar Rıfat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enginalp Muhsin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Veysel Sanat made a huge save. Afşar Rıfat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemalettin Yetişen in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Muhittin Akgündüz was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Muhittin Akgündüz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Stockings FC the free kick. Muhittin Akgündüz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Veysel Sanat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enginalp Muhsin in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's goal looked a bit too open when Kutlay Hamurcu came free, but Veysel Sanat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veysel Sanat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipp Bernikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 67th minute, Muhittin Akgündüz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Black Stockings FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cemalettin Yetişen came free, but Afşar Rıfat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afşar Rıfat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhittin Akgündüz in the 77th minute. Batu Derviş's late challenge caught a Kuleli Askeri Lisesi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batu Derviş helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Black Stockings FC's Batu Derviş got a free kick in the 78th minute. Halil Utku Erzincanlı hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes Kuleli Askeri Lisesi got a freekick which was hit by Halil Utku Erzincanlı. Black Stockings FC's Filipp Bernikov got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Black Stockings FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kuleli Askeri Lisesi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
