After 14 played minutes Celebi FK got a freekick which was hit by Celalettin Ulusan. After 15 played minutes, Hakuna Matata's Tolga Perker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fedai Yahya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hakuna Matata reached it. When Fazil Krdžalić fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celebi FK's protests and gave Fazil Krdžalić a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Celebi FK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fazil Krdžalić hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Hüsnü Ünlü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedai Yahya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celebi FK's Fedai Yahya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Celebi FK from getting a goal against them. Hakuna Matata's Tolga Perker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fedai Yahya in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fedai Yahya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Sena in the 22nd minute. In the 25th match minute, Hakuna Matata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Hakan Özkar to maneuver through the defense. Alemdar Ergüleç kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Sami Aymaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sami Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fedai Yahya made a huge save. The supporters of Celebi FK booed when Hakuna Matata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhsin Tunçöven didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hüsnü Ünlü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Fedai Yahya when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venancio Chorche stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Hakuna Matata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Hakan Özkar to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Celebi FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Aymaz came free, but Fedai Yahya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedai Yahya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güntekin Akil's late challenge caught a Celebi FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedai Yahya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsa Tüney in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Sami Sena notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Celebi FK's Fedai Yahya. Fedai Yahya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute Hüsnü Ünlü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedai Yahya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes Celebi FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tolga Perker who took care of the corner kick. Muhsin Tunçöven hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Fedai Yahya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsnü Ünlü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Hakuna Matata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhsin Tunçöven to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Brant Teague dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel Söderström, 2-1. After 95 minutes of play, Hakuna Matata's Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fedai Yahya was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hakuna Matata fully deserved thier win.
