The referee ignored Beşiktaş Edirne's protests and gave Abdulkadir Altunhan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Beşiktaş Edirne getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Abdulkadir Altunhan hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Denis Lopez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seyfi Özaltan was relentless in the 30th minute of the game.
