When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Ziya Beşer took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Mustafa Anıl Kayacan to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulvio Di Francesco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökhan Şahruh in the 83rd minute of play forced Konyaspor's goalkeeper Mustafa Anıl Kayacan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolga Özgu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Nola in the 91st minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Sivasspor JK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
