The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cláudio Vasconcelos in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seyfi Özaltan saved Beşiktaş Edirne from getting behind. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cláudio Vasconcelos sped through Beşiktaş Edirne's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Seyfi Özaltan. Seyfi Özaltan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derya Hazar in the 14th minute of the match. sakarya54 were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Beşiktaş Edirne's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Efe Tansoy took the corner. After taking down the ball on sakarya54's corner Ahmet Efe Tansoy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Seyfi Özaltan quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Beşiktaş Edirne defense, Filipe Miguéis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seyfi Özaltan. The Beşiktaş Edirne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seyfi Özaltan should have stopped the shot. Filipe Miguéis took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seyfi Özaltan. Seyfi Özaltan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Seyfi Özaltan came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by sakarya54's Cláudio Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Cláudio Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Seyfi Özaltan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Vejre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Beşiktaş Edirne's Artaç Yaren got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Vasconcelos in the 32nd minute of play forced Beşiktaş Edirne's goalkeeper Seyfi Özaltan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seyfi Özaltan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Vasconcelos in the 34th minute of play. Seyfi Özaltan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Miguéis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derya Hazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seyfi Özaltan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derya Hazar ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

In the 59th minute, Cláudio Vasconcelos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Seyfi Özaltan. The goal made the score 0-8. In the 65th play minute Tolgahan Şahiner came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Seyfi Özaltan. 0-9. The supporters of sakarya54 booed when Beşiktaş Edirne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semail Yalkın didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tolgahan Şahiner during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
