The supporters of GALATASARAY SK booed when Yenimahallegücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necati Zaik didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Yenimahallegücü's Garip Osmanoğlu got control of the ball when Gian-Carlo Irizar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Qian Kuan came free, but Hüseyin Turan Cesman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garip Osmanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Encang Wibowo in the 13th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Ahmet Turan Tamerkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY SK and the Yenimahallegücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, GALATASARAY SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Turan Tamerkin to maneuver through the defense. Hüseyin Turan Cesman came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yenimahallegücü's Kunter Subutay. But to his dismay, Kunter Subutay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kunter Subutay in the 25th minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Hüseyin Turan Cesman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Yenimahallegücü getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kunter Subutay hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gian-Carlo Irizar in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garip Osmanoğlu saved Yenimahallegücü from getting behind. If Gian-Carlo Irizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Yenimahallegücü's goalkeeper Garip Osmanoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gian-Carlo Irizar. Qian Kuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gian-Carlo Irizar in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garip Osmanoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kunter Subutay to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY SK's Serhat Reşan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Hüseyin Turan Cesman made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Qian Kuan sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Kunter Subutay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hüseyin Turan Cesman. That made the score 1-2 in the 57 minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Qian Kuan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hüseyin Turan Cesman. Qian Kuan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 68 minutes into the game, Ahmet Turan Tamerkin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Garip Osmanoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ahmet Turan Tamerkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garip Osmanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gian-Carlo Irizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Kunter Subutay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY SK's Hüseyin Turan Cesman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When GALATASARAY SK's Gian-Carlo Irizar in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hamdi Deveci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hüseyin Turan Cesman. GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute, Selman Songurhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yenimahallegücü walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
