GALATASARAY SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Özmen Şahit ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Galatasaray SK's Mehmet Ferit Sebati to a score. 3-1 in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
