The supporters of Eskil booed when Zincirlikuyu SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akın Karakan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarık Aköz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korhan Şennur in the 37th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Suat Onursu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gökmen Dilhan. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. Suat Onursu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Gökmen Dilhan made a huge save. After 47th play minutes Pekin Uruz shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Tarık Aköz and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 54th minute Nazım Azimli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökmen Dilhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes, Nazım Azimli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zincirlikuyu SK and the Eskil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Suat Onursu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Zincirlikuyu SK's Tarık Aköz got control of the ball when Pekin Uruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Erman Kamil threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zincirlikuyu SK's Atahan Durak quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nazım Azimli scored 3-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gökmen Dilhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zincirlikuyu SK fully deserved thier win.
