But to his dismay, Jo Adler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Fodil Otman struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marcos Arandojo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzon. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kai Jønlev was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Talay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Zaid Sağanalp came free, but Marcos Arandojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that César Oviedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Hamit Kutlu was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Gencer Uluöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Arandojo having to interfere. The Talay SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Trabzon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
