After 3 minutes of play, STARS TEAM's Sid Lampard made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Devlet Akkaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mert Akbora's late challenge caught a STARS TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mert Akbora helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Antakya FK's Mert Akbora got a free kick in the 8th minute. Sid Lampard took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Devlet Akkaya. Devlet Akkaya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Antakya FK's Devlet Akkaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Lampard in the 12th minute of play. Devlet Akkaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sid Lampard's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Ateş Rahim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kemal Bilgetay, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, STARS TEAM's Sid Lampard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Devlet Akkaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Mustafa Kemal Hisar's late challenge caught a STARS TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After a rather tough play, Antakya FK's Mustafa Kemal Hisar got a free kick in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sid Lampard in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Devlet Akkaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Antakya FK's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Paredes came free, but Devlet Akkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sid Lampard in the 25th minute of play forced Antakya FK's goalkeeper Devlet Akkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. STARS TEAM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Esteban Paredes in the 26th minute. After 26 played minutes Antakya FK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Ekrem Sirer. After a defensive mix-up in Antakya FK's zone, Esteban Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Devlet Akkaya came out of the goal and Esteban Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ateş Rahim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Ekrem Sirer in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Antakya FK's goalkeeper Devlet Akkaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, STARS TEAM's Esteban Paredes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Devlet Akkaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 43rdth minute of the game Sid Lampard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antakya FK's Devlet Akkaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteban Paredes to make the kick off. Esteban Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Devlet Akkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Qiao Kang Yi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STARS TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Sid Lampard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Devlet Akkaya having to make a save. Mustafa Kemal Hisar hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Devlet Akkaya made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Sid Lampard sent off a good shot on target. Sid Lampard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sid Lampard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Devlet Akkaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of STARS TEAM booed when Antakya FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikail Tunçkol didn't get a good kick on the ball. STARS TEAM's Esteban Paredes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The nice shot from Sid Lampard in the 83rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Devlet Akkaya had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Sid Lampard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 88th minute, but Devlet Akkaya got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Antakya FK hanging dry this time. Devlet Akkaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sid Lampard went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. A well placed Esteban Paredes short distance shot in the 94th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Sid Lampard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Devlet Akkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Antakya FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. STARS TEAM were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
