Spectators: 6110 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 10) erzurumspor's Ayberk Derim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ayberk Derim managed to get in a good position for a shot. erzurumspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ayberk Derim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fevzi Özerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fevzi Özerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk Derim in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the ALTUNTAŞ F.K. defense, Müfit Başar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fevzi Özerman. The ALTUNTAŞ F.K. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fevzi Özerman should have stopped the shot. In the 14th match minute, ALTUNTAŞ F.K. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevher Yazıcı to maneuver through the defense. Fevzi Özerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Müfit Başar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, erzurumspor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cevahir Canberk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cevher Yazıcı's late challenge caught a erzurumspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cevher Yazıcı helped the player get up and apologised. Cevher Yazıcı hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of ALTUNTAŞ F.K.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of erzurumspor:s goal. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for erzurumspor. Ayberk Derim stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fevzi Özerman. 1-2. Ayberk Derim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fevzi Özerman having to interfere. After the first half erzurumspor were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cevahir Canberk to make the kick off. Baltasar Dubardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ali Orhan İpekçi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cevahir Canberk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, erzurumspor's Erdi Eripek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Fevzi Özerman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ayberk Derim went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, ALTUNTAŞ F.K.'s Gürhan Uçarer got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ali Orhan İpekçi came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by ALTUNTAŞ F.K.'s Baltasar Dubardo. But to his dismay, Baltasar Dubardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4.
