Peyami Salcan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Işıkalp Aytuğ's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. If Işıkalp Aytuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamil Ustaoğlu had several of the Oltu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Peyami Salcan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Yavuz Yula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Peyami Salcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karahan Midilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdullah Onuker in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Oltu booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duman Gencer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamil Ustaoğlus short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Peyami Salcan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mustafa Emre Ulutaş's late challenge caught a Oltu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustafa Emre Ulutaş helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Emre Ulutaş to maneuver through the defense. Karahan Midilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdullah Onuker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peyami Salcan stood somewhat misplaced when Kamil Ustaoğlu came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Hamdullah Onuker hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Oltu's Hamdullah Onuker fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Karahan Midilli was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. After 40 played minutes Oltu got a freekick which was hit by Timur Kerimhan. Ali Kaan Ergüven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karahan Midilli having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Hamdullah Onuker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karahan Midilli came out of the goal and Hamdullah Onuker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hamdullah Onuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hamdullah Onuker to strike the kick off in the second half. Ali Kaan Ergüven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Kamil Ustaoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Peyami Salcan. Oltu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Işıkalp Aytuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Peyami Salcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kamil Ustaoğlu in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peyami Salcan saved Oltu from getting behind. After 67 played minutes Oltu got a freekick which was hit by Hürkan Bekir. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when Oltu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüstem Zihni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peyami Salcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuz Yula in the 73rd minute of the match. Kamil Ustaoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Peyami Salcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Işıkalp Aytuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Işıkalp Aytuğ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peyami Salcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kamil Ustaoğlu in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peyami Salcan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamdullah Onuker in the 85th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Karahan Midilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oltu's Peyami Salcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamil Ustaoğlu in the 86th minute of play. If Kamil Ustaoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peyami Salcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamil Ustaoğlu in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Oltu getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Timur Kerimhan hit a great ball. GALATASARAY's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
