Cengiz Kurtuluş helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kecierengücü getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cengiz Kurtuluş hit a great ball. Baybars Energin's late challenge caught a SOI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Cafer Akbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Haydar Çeliker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haydar Çeliker made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when İlyas Hadim sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 38 minutes, Ali Cafer Akbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Cafer Akbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Efe Hizanlı took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Akif Yılğıralp. Akif Yılğıralp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Behram Şinas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kecierengücü booed when SOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behram Şinas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Cafer Akbal was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Cafer Akbal in the 54th minute of play forced Kecierengücü's goalkeeper Haydar Çeliker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If İlyas Hadim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, SOI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlyas Hadim to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Efe Hizanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SOI's Ali Cafer Akbal got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Kecierengücü's goal looked a bit too open when İlyas Hadim came free, but Haydar Çeliker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hüseyin Can Öz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. SOI's Okanay Tatu got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haydar Çeliker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlyas Hadim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Okanay Tatu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okanay Tatu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Cafer Akbal struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Haydar Çeliker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOI. Hüseyin Can Öz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Akif Yılğıralp firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ali Cafer Akbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOI's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Cafer Akbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haydar Çeliker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SOI fully deserved thier win.
