Hüseyin Can Öz started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Hafız Togan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haydar Çeliker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haydar Çeliker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ergincan Kerim in the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kecierengücü's Haydar Çeliker got control of the ball when Gürel Çeliktaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Kecierengücü's goal looked a bit too open when Hafız Togan came free, but Haydar Çeliker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Hafız Togan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haydar Çeliker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürel Çeliktaşs short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Haydar Çeliker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Kecierengücü booed when AKSARAYSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birol Alişan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Orkun Hacıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AKSARAYSPOR's Doğan Topçam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Can Öz in the 39th minute of play. Hüseyin Can Öz took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doğan Topçam. Doğan Topçam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Çelik Bergin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birol Alişan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AKSARAYSPOR's Bekir Umut got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gürel Çeliktaş was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürel Çeliktaş in the 51st minute of play forced Kecierengücü's goalkeeper Haydar Çeliker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haydar Çeliker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafız Togan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celalettin Ulvi charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celalettin Ulvi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, AKSARAYSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celalettin Ulvi to maneuver through the defense. Kecierengücü's Çelik Bergin got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haydar Çeliker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürel Çeliktaş in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafız Togan in the 66th minute of play forced Kecierengücü's goalkeeper Haydar Çeliker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hafız Togan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haydar Çeliker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafız Togan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çelik Bergin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Doğan Topçam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AKSARAYSPOR's Doğan Topçam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save AKSARAYSPOR from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, AKSARAYSPOR's Doğan Topçam got control of the ball when Çelik Bergin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Ahmet Efe Hizanlı made a precise shot to the right of Doğan Topçam. AKSARAYSPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Birol Alişan fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKSARAYSPOR's protests and gave Birol Alişan a yellow card for diving instead. Birol Alişan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Çelik Bergin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Doğan Topçam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doğan Topçam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Çelik Bergin in the 88th minute. The supporters of AKSARAYSPOR booed when Kecierengücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cengiz Kurtuluş didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kecierengücü supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kecierengücü would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
