An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Vulturar in the 15th minute of play forced Akıncılar Futbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Cevat İmamoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to The Damned United getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mustafa Emre Enfal hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, The Damned United's Şansal Kudsi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cevat İmamoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 25th minute Mustafa Emre Enfal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevat İmamoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ferhan Uğurtay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Juanjo Carreño from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Cevat İmamoğlu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Şansal Kudsis short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Cevat İmamoğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
