Spectators: 7379 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yağızhan Yücel started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute Sefa Talayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurtuluş Ünlü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, one of Under 18 Universe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Under 18 Universe. Şenel Göçmen walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 18th minute Yağızhan Yücel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurtuluş Ünlü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yağızhan Yücel in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurtuluş Ünlü saved Under 18 Universe from getting behind. In the 21st minute Maverick Spor were awarded a corner. Şenel Göçmen went to the cornerflag to take it. Kurtuluş Ünlü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yağızhan Yücel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the game, Maverick Spor's Batıhan İlhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurtuluş Ünlü made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Under 18 Universe's goal looked a bit too open when Sefa Talayer came free, but Kurtuluş Ünlü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Under 18 Universe's Kurtuluş Ünlü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağızhan Yücel in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Under 18 Universe defense, Batıhan İlhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurtuluş Ünlü. The Under 18 Universe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurtuluş Ünlü should have stopped the shot. Maverick Spor's Murathan Harmanda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bora Han Ankaralı, made in the 40th minute of the game. Kurtuluş Ünlü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batıhan İlhan in the 44th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Metehan Kurboga made the kick off in the second half. Cahit Atik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurtuluş Ünlü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıhan İlhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Şenel Göçmen made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Batıhan İlhan however managed to control. Sefa Talayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kurtuluş Ünlü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayındır Mehmet Harmanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Bayındır Mehmet Harmanda took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Kurtuluş Ünlü to make any attempt to save it. Kurtuluş Ünlü made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sefa Talayer in the 72nd minute. Sefa Talayer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kurtuluş Ünlü made a huge save. When Kamer Başkaynak fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Under 18 Universe's protests and gave Kamer Başkaynak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Under 18 Universe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamer Başkaynak to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Maverick Spor booed when Under 18 Universe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baycan Yetişen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şenel Göçmen struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Kurtuluş Ünlü didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maverick Spor. 86 minutes into the game, Baran Bilge Alişan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Under 18 Universe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maverick Spor the free kick. In the 88th play minute Sefa Talayer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kurtuluş Ünlü. 0-4. 92 minutes into the game, Yağızhan Yücel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kurtuluş Ünlü. Yağızhan Yücel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Maverick Spor played a much better game than Under 18 Universe and deserved their victory. The Under 18 Universe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
