Lütfi Ünlüsoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Everardo Blanco having to make a save. 9 minutes into the match, S.P.Q.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Necmi Geylani came free, but Everardo Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Lütfi Ünlüsoy made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. S.P.Q.R.'s Everardo Blanco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Necmi Geylani put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Everardo Blanco. Necmi Geylani struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Everardo Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Telçeker İdman Yurdu. But to his dismay, Lamar Phua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Sakut Ünalan kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Necmi Geylani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Blanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. After the first half Telçeker İdman Yurdu were leading 1-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lamar Phua to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Necmi Geylani in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Blanco saved S.P.Q.R. from getting behind. Telçeker İdman Yurdu's Üzeyir Özalp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Everardo Blanco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Necmi Geylani in the 57th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Everardo Blanco kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-8 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Everardo Blanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necmi Geylani in the 61st minute. S.P.Q.R.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Necdet Esay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamar Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necdet Esay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lamar Phua in the 91st minute of the match. Kaptan Bekir's late challenge caught a S.P.Q.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaptan Bekir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Kaptan Bekir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Telçeker İdman Yurdu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
