Ali Çağrı Samin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but İrfan Sabuncuoğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kurtulus's Bayındır Mehmet Pakel got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Kurtulus's zone, İrfan Sabuncuoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Çağrı Samin came out of the goal and İrfan Sabuncuoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
