In a very dangerous position, a player in E J D E R Y A fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Rıfat Süleyman had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Mansur Refik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Serdar Sabit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rıfat Süleyman having to interfere. Rıfat Süleyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serdar Sabit, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Hazım Pamirhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 24th minute, Serdar Sabit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Serdar Sabit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akcakent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serdar Sabit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lütfü Taşer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rıfat Süleyman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Lütfü Taşer struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Rıfat Süleyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Akcakent. Akcakent were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
