An unexpectedly hard shot by Şentürk Ulumeriç in the 4th minute of play forced GÖZTEPE SK's goalkeeper Utkan Ortaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vicente Flores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doğaner Taymaz was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 6thth minute of the game Vicente Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ziyapaşa SK's Doğaner Taymaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Vicente Flores sped through Ziyapaşa SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Doğaner Taymaz. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Şentürk Ulumeriç sped through GÖZTEPE SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Utkan Ortaç. Şentürk Ulumeriç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Utkan Ortaç having to interfere. Utkan Ortaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jedrzej Czciborek in the 20th minute of the match. The corner led Ziyapaşa SK's Per Andberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Utkan Ortaç despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sufi Tavil got free with Doğaner Taymaz in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Doğaner Taymaz made a huge save. With a little luck, Ziyapaşa SK's Doğaner Taymaz got control of the ball when Sufi Tavil tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Ziyapaşa SK's goalkeeper Doğaner Taymaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sufi Tavil. Utkan Ortaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şentürk Ulumeriç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çelebi Selami charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çelebi Selami the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, GÖZTEPE SK's Çelebi Selami got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Flores was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Şentürk Ulumeriç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Utkan Ortaç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the game, Arif Memduh Hür threw the ball into play from the sideline. GÖZTEPE SK's Sufi Tavil quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şentürk Ulumeriç in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Utkan Ortaç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doğaner Taymaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Flores in the 63rd minute of the match. GÖZTEPE SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ersin Oğuzhan in the 64th minute. After taking down the ball on GÖZTEPE SK's corner Ersin Oğuzhan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Doğaner Taymaz quite easily take care of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, GÖZTEPE SK's goal looked a bit too open when Şentürk Ulumeriç came free, but Utkan Ortaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Bide hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Vicente Flores put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Doğaner Taymaz. In the 71st minute Sansone Sauto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utkan Ortaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Utkan Ortaç made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Şentürk Ulumeriç sent off a good shot on target. Jedrzej Czciborek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 minutes, Şentürk Ulumeriç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ziyapaşa SK and the GÖZTEPE SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şentürk Ulumeriç hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Şentürk Ulumeriç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Utkan Ortaç made a huge save. Jedrzej Czciborek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Utkan Ortaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
