An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökalp Rakim in the 25th minute of play forced İSTEMİ's goalkeeper Erkin Afşar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökalp Rakim might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erkin Afşar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gökalp Rakim ran back to his position shaking his head. Erkin Afşar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökalp Rakim, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Nusaybin GençLikSpor booed when İSTEMİ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olcay Orkun Akburçak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erkin Afşar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kong Jun Ying's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Gökalp Rakim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but İSTEMİ's Erkin Afşar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 38th minute of the match Olcay Orkun Akburçak completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Olcay Orkun Akburçak a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 41st minute, Kong Jun Ying ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erkin Afşar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Erkin Afşar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökalp Rakim in the 44th minute of play. İSTEMİ's Erkin Afşar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökalp Rakim in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommie Smets was the one to do the kick off. Gökalp Rakim took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erkin Afşar. Erkin Afşar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Bilal Kabadayı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, İSTEMİ's Erdinç Erginay got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, İSTEMİ's Erkin Afşar got control of the ball when Gökalp Rakim tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Gökalp Rakim sped through İSTEMİ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erkin Afşar. 84 minutes into the match, Rick McEachan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erkin Afşar. İSTEMİ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rick McEachan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 87th match minute, Nusaybin GençLikSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cahit Settar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of İSTEMİ booed when Nusaybin GençLikSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Namık Yalavaç didn't get a good kick on the ball.
