Spectators: 7805 (Terracing: 5855, Seating: 1795, VIP seats: 155) Cappadocia's Niels Jennis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Cappadocia's zone, İsmet Baştugay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirkelam Başeğmez came out of the goal and İsmet Baştugay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulvi Çinucen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Viveiros in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Tuğrul Yengi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Quintino Viveiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulvi Çinucen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cappadocia's goalkeeper Mirkelam Başeğmez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute Sabahattin Sümeroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulvi Çinucen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulvi Çinucen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkay Akçasu in the 20th minute of play. İsmet Baştugay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Mirkelam Başeğmez made a huge save. After 24 played minutes ABREK 77 got a freekick which was hit by Meriç Işıker. In the 35th minute, Berkay Akçasu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabahattin Sümeroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Rüştü Kanber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirkelam Başeğmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mirkelam Başeğmez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüştü Kanber in the 38th minute of play. If Quintino Viveiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Quintino Viveiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulvi Çinucen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rüştü Kanber made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niels Jennis in the 51st minute of play forced ABREK 77's goalkeeper Ulvi Çinucen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by ABREK 77's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agah Özguven was slow to take the kick. During this time Cappadocia's players had a chance to rest. Mirkelam Başeğmez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsmet Baştugay in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute ABREK 77 were awarded a corner. Tuğrul Yengi went to the cornerflag to take it. Sabahattin Sümeroğlu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Cappadocia's goal looked a bit too open when İsmet Baştugay came free, but Mirkelam Başeğmez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Tuğrul Yengi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cappadocia's Mirkelam Başeğmez did a great save. In the 68th match minute, ABREK 77 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri da Costa to maneuver through the defense. When Niels Jennis came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cappadocia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niels Jennis couldn't finish the play. Rüştü Kanber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirkelam Başeğmez having to interfere. Mirkelam Başeğmez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmet Baştugay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, İsmet Baştugay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ABREK 77's supporters crossed their fingers, but İsmet Baştugay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirkelam Başeğmez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmet Baştugay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mirkelam Başeğmez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rüştü Kanber in the 90th minute of the match. Rüştü Kanber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirkelam Başeğmez having to interfere. In the 94th minute İsmet Baştugay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirkelam Başeğmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ABREK 77 booed when Cappadocia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aytaç Kamer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Rüştü Kanber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cappadocia players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
