Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Suat Egesel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 33 minutes into the match Adam Adamski climbed in front of goal and pressed up 3-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Suat Egesel. Uluç Tolunbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Anıl Erbaş having to interfere. Zonguldak's Jurand Kajdasz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 43rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tacettin İplikçi was the one to do the kick off. Suat Egesel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Kajdasz in the 51st minute of the match. 51 minutes into the match, Jurand Kajdasz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Suat Egesel. FENERBAHÇE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurand Kajdasz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beşir Suerkan during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Zonguldak players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
