Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cemal Bekdil made the kick off which started today's match. When Uluç Tolunbay came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FENERBAHÇE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uluç Tolunbay couldn't finish the play. Müfit Tolgahan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Suat Egesel. FENERBAHÇE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11th minute, Samsunspor's Hatemi Selami ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Suat Egesel. Suat Egesel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Yiğit Hidayettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Seyrani İklim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, İlbey Okay sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Samsunspor's Yavuzalp Sağanalp didn't even have to move. Hatemi Selami was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Samsunspor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Suat Egesel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Samsunspor's Cemal Bekdil. But to his dismay, Cemal Bekdil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Cemal Bekdil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Suat Egesel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Orhan Şentürk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yavuzalp Sağanalp. Samsunspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Yavuzalp Sağanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beşir Suerkan in the 41st minute of play. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Uluç Tolunbay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yavuzalp Sağanalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tacettin İplikçi was the one to do the kick off. Samsunspor's Yavuzalp Sağanalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Samsunspor from getting a goal against them. After 59 minutes, Cemal Bekdil made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. FENERBAHÇE's Suat Egesel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's goal looked a bit too open when Hatemi Selami came free, but Suat Egesel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Uluç Tolunbay notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Samsunspor's Yavuzalp Sağanalp. Yavuzalp Sağanalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Suat Egesel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hatemi Selami's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Tacettin İplikçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuzalp Sağanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Müfit Tolgahan fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samsunspor's protests and gave Müfit Tolgahan a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by Müfit Tolgahan. In the 74th minute Beşir Suerkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuzalp Sağanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suat Egesel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hatemi Selami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Samsunspor's Habib Kutlar got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goalkeeper Yavuzalp Sağanalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uluç Tolunbay. Tacettin İplikçi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Yavuzalp Sağanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beşir Suerkan struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Yavuzalp Sağanalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHÇE. Samsunspor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FENERBAHÇE for a fine match.
