After a rather tough play, Birlik Spor's Gencal Usluer got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jeremias Blanquel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ufuk Akıncı, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Denizhan Orun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aykutalp Balıkçıoğlu. The goal made the score 1-0. If Ufuk Akıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denizhan Orun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Aykutalp Balıkçıoğlu made a huge save. The supporters of Birlik Spor booed when Sahinbey SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamit Özbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aykutalp Balıkçıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Czajka in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ufuk Akıncı to strike the kick off in the second half. Hamit Özbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birlik Spor's Baybars İsrafil got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ufuk Akıncı got free with Jeremias Blanquel in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Hamit Özbal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeremias Blanquel. The goal made the score 1-2. 71 minutes into the match, Birlik Spor's goalkeeper Jeremias Blanquel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ufuk Akıncı. Jeremias Blanquel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamit Özbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Birlik Spor's zone, Ufuk Akıncı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Blanquel came out of the goal and Ufuk Akıncı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Sahinbey SK's goal looked a bit too open when Baybars İsrafil came free, but Aykutalp Balıkçıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Sahinbey SK's Hamit Özbal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Jeremias Blanquel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ufuk Akıncı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sahinbey SK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Birlik Spor side.
