Gigel Bitănescu started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Eşref Özkul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, TERMINATOR's goalkeeper Jakub Czarnecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tunç Koytan. Tunç Koytan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakub Czarnecki having to interfere. After 16 played minutes MKE İzmir got a freekick which was hit by Yaman Türksan. Michael Owen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Altay Heybetli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to MKE İzmir getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Roberto Carlos hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Gigel Bitănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TERMINATOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Bitănescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Gigel Bitănescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Altay Heybetli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, TERMINATOR's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel 柯景凌 came free, but Jakub Czarnecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Hugon Tepper was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TERMINATOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKE İzmir the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, TERMINATOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugon Tepper to maneuver through the defense. If Tunç Koytan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gigel Bitănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. TERMINATOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Bitănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Altay Heybetli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Altay Heybetli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Tepper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, TERMINATOR's Jakub Czarnecki got control of the ball when Lionel 柯景凌 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MKE İzmir's zone, Gigel Bitănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Altay Heybetli came out of the goal and Gigel Bitănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Michael Owen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TERMINATOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tunç Koytan to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Bitănescu in the 52nd minute of play forced MKE İzmir's goalkeeper Altay Heybetli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MKE İzmir's Altay Heybetli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Bitănescu in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of MKE İzmir booed when TERMINATOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güvenç Yavuzay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, TERMINATOR's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel 柯景凌 came free, but Jakub Czarnecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altay Heybetli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigel Bitănescu's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Gigel Bitănescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Altay Heybetli having to make a save. When Gigel Bitănescu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the TERMINATOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gigel Bitănescu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to MKE İzmir getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kurtuluş Hiçsönmez hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orhan Veli Cilasun during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TERMINATOR getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Kazimierz Ziomkowski hit a great ball. TERMINATOR played a much better game than MKE İzmir and deserved their victory. The MKE İzmir players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
