İzMiR 08's Simon Courtemanche managed to work through caldiran's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Simon Courtemanche dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 24th minute Simon Courtemanche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mümtazer Bengisoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Vintilescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 吴荣瑜, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 吴荣瑜 to make the kick off. In the 79th minute, Simon Courtemanche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mümtazer Bengisoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Ernest Vintilescu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by caldiran's 吴荣瑜. But to his dismay, 吴荣瑜 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. The supporters of caldiran booed when İzMiR 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 吴荣瑜 in the 90th minute of play forced İzMiR 08's goalkeeper Ernest Vintilescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göktuğ Yenbu ran over to the corner to take the kick. İzMiR 08's Göktuğ Yenbu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mümtazer Bengisoy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The caldiran supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing caldiran would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
