In the 33rd minute, Arnulfo Garrido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ziemowit Soroka ran back to his position shaking his head. AC Cazzo's Orbay Başöz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Soroka in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Ziemowit Soroka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orbay Başöz. That made the score 3-0 after 43 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ziemowit Soroka was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Tarsus İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baturay Seralp to maneuver through the defense. Orbay Başöz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Soroka in the 57th minute of play. Samir Handanovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomir Turak, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ziemowit Soroka took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orbay Başöz. Orbay Başöz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ziemowit Soroka might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orbay Başöz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ziemowit Soroka ran back to his position shaking his head. Ziemowit Soroka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baturay Seralp came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Tarsus İdman Yurdu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baturay Seralp couldn't finish the play. If Carel Kik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Tarsus İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aykan Şatıroğlu to maneuver through the defense. AC Cazzo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
