In the 5th minute Spas Spitzmüller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurtekin Üner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes A.C Barak got a freekick which was hit by Gafur Hancı. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chesney Nicholson in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uğuralp Vasfi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goalkeeper Nurtekin Üner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erkan Saykut. In the 10thth minute of the game Chesney Nicholson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C Barak's Uğuralp Vasfi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uğuralp Vasfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chesney Nicholson in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.C Barak's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurelian Caciulescu was slow to take the kick. During this time MERT FC's players had a chance to rest. A.C Barak's Uğuralp Vasfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Caciulescu in the 28th minute of play. A.C Barak's Kağan Boran got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Chesney Nicholson sped through A.C Barak's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uğuralp Vasfi. Ahmet Harun Atacan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Nurtekin Üner made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Harun Atacan in the 39th minute of play forced MERT FC's goalkeeper Nurtekin Üner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naci Kaynak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Uğuralp Vasfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naci Kaynak in the 57th minute of play. Nurtekin Üner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spas Spitzmüller in the 60th minute of play. If Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş in the 61st minute of play forced A.C Barak's goalkeeper Uğuralp Vasfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chesney Nicholson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Uğuralp Vasfi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an all-out effort, MERT FC's Uğuralp Vasfi threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Naci Kaynak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nurtekin Üner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kağan Boran in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Chesney Nicholson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C Barak's Uğuralp Vasfi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uğuralp Vasfi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With his leg Uğuralp Vasfi managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when MERT FC's Chesney Nicholson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Kağan Boran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naci Kaynak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uğuralp Vasfi having to interfere. Chesney Nicholson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Uğuralp Vasfi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chesney Nicholson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Uğuralp Vasfi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erkan Saykut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nurtekin Üner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute MERT FC were awarded a corner. Aurelian Caciulescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Recep Çetin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Nurtekin Üner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kağan Boran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Spas Spitzmüller came free, but Nurtekin Üner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MERT FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
