Başar Uluç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahmi Özerol, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Egemen Akmaner got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jay-Jay Okocha made a kick off. In the 75thth minute of the game Jay-Jay Okocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EFSANE MERSİN İDMAN YURDU's Başar Uluç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Başar Uluç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay-Jay Okocha in the 79th minute of the match. If Jay-Jay Okocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, EFSANE MERSİN İDMAN YURDU's Başar Uluç got control of the ball when Rahmi Özerol tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jay-Jay Okocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Başar Uluç was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Derik had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
