The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 18th minute Cevat Metehan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacid Akyazıcı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Cihangir Akartürk notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Khalkedon FK's Vacid Akyazıcı. Vacid Akyazıcı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vacid Akyazıcı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After some careless play in the Khalkedon FK defense, Cevat Metehan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vacid Akyazıcı. The Khalkedon FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vacid Akyazıcı should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Cevat Metehan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Vacid Akyazıcı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vacid Akyazıcı was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehmet Ferit Salik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 72 minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Yorulan Defansa Gelsin's Ahmet Nasir Fırıncı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With a little luck, Khalkedon FK's Vacid Akyazıcı got control of the ball when Cevat Metehan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cevat Metehan got free with Vacid Akyazıcı in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Khalkedon FK's goalkeeper Vacid Akyazıcı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umur Serdinç. Yorulan Defansa Gelsin played a much better game than Khalkedon FK and deserved their victory. The Khalkedon FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
