The audience was convinced that Songurbey Tuncal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Başaran Ötüken was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 13 minutes, Songurbey Tuncal made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Northern Lights's Başaran Ötüken tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Northern Lights booed when JiOmaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songurbey Hünerli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özgün Serbülend recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half JiOmaro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Selman Nurdag threw the ball into play from the sideline. JiOmaro's Nicu Petrulean quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Songurbey Tuncal scored 0-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Başaran Ötüken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 played minutes Mourits Nelander rounded Northern Lights's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. JiOmaro's Songurbey Tuncal got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Songurbey Tuncal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Başaran Ötüken. That made the score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. Başaran Ötüken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mourits Nelander in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Özer Geçer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirkelam Özdoğru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Songurbey Tuncal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Başaran Ötüken skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. JiOmaro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Songurbey Tuncal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Songurbey Tuncal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Başaran Ötüken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Mourits Nelander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başaran Ötüken having to interfere. When the match was over JiOmaro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Northern Lights throughout the match.
