Alkolik SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John van der Wiel in the 10th minute. Aybar Yalınayak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Turan Üngörmüş in the 14th minute. The supporters of İSTANBULLS FC booed when Alkolik SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgür Denizcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Alkolik SK's Aybar Yalınayak got control of the ball when Zeki İncel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Alkolik SK fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Alkolik SK's Fabricio Bortzaioriz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
