The audience was convinced that Fahrettin Ulukut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Panikowski was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. The corner ended in Ercan Yaman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Veritas F.C's Mustafa Haydar Darga did a great save. After taking down the ball on Karşıyaka Spor Kulüpü's corner Ercan Yaman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mustafa Haydar Darga quite easily take care of the ball. Edward Panikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Ingemarsson in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Ingemarsson in the 28th minute of play forced Karşıyaka Spor Kulüpü's goalkeeper Edward Panikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Karşıyaka Spor Kulüpü players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Veritas F.C were winning 1-2.

Stefan Ingemarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Edward Panikowski made a huge save. Ercan Yaman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 minutes Karşıyaka Spor Kulüpü's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Koralp Karadağ who took care of the corner kick. Edward Panikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serhan Şahin in the 61st minute of the match. Edward Panikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fahrettin Ulukut, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Karşıyaka Spor Kulüpü's Yiğitcan Temizel got a free kick in the 84th minute. Karşıyaka Spor Kulüpü's Edward Panikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serhan Şahin in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Stefan Ingemarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veritas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Ingemarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Veritas F.C getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mehmet Halis Samet hit a great ball. When the match was over Veritas F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karşıyaka Spor Kulüpü throughout the match.
