Bertil Wassenius might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jess Bonkegaard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Wassenius ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Bertil Wassenius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G . S A R A Y fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Balkan Defence's zone, Bertil Wassenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jess Bonkegaard came out of the goal and Bertil Wassenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Wassenius in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jess Bonkegaard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jess Bonkegaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Wassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Bertil Wassenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jess Bonkegaard was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the match G . S A R A Y got a corner. Balkan Defence's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 36th minute, Bertil Wassenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Balkan Defence's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Wassenius came free, but Jess Bonkegaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kamil Babacan made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Verner Skräddare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G . S A R A Y's Miromir Kociniewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kamil Babacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Bonkegaard having to interfere. Kamil Babacan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jess Bonkegaard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G . S A R A Y. In the 67thth minute of the game Verner Skräddare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G . S A R A Y's Miromir Kociniewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. G . S A R A Y's Miromir Kociniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Skräddare in the 70th minute of play. Kamil Babacan might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jess Bonkegaard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kamil Babacan ran back to his position shaking his head. Kamil Babacan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jess Bonkegaard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Kamil Babacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jess Bonkegaard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kamil Babacan in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute, Salomon Jestin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
