In the 12th minute Akay Tanyıldız shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevahir Ulutan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Arslan Cesur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Efelerspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EsTeRGoN the free kick. A collision led to Efelerspor getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Efelerspor played a much better game than EsTeRGoN and deserved their victory. The EsTeRGoN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
