Görkem Melih stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yakup İcabi's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Yakup İcabi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Görkem Melih 10 minutes into the match. Gökçek Keskin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jurand Marczyniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyfullah Kıncal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The corner led to SALURSPOR's Luke De Leger getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jurand Marczyniec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halit Keskinel in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SALURSPOR's Viktor Dorofeev got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a little luck, AkInCı's Görkem Melih got control of the ball when Floyd Hinnen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Yakup İcabi made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Floyd Hinnen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Görkem Melih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by AkInCı's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Öztürk Zafir was slow to take the kick. During this time SALURSPOR's players had a chance to rest. Görkem Melih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yakup İcabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Görkem Melih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yakup İcabi in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Yakup İcabi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Görkem Melih was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 60 minutes into the match, SALURSPOR's Floyd Hinnen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Görkem Melih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in AkInCı's zone, Floyd Hinnen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Görkem Melih came out of the goal and Floyd Hinnen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
