The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Efe Sayılgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazil Adaş having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Cocca in the 19th minute of play forced Racing FC's goalkeeper Dedé Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Birsel Coşar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayrampaşa32spor the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Racing FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bayrampaşa32spor:s goal. In the 24th minute, Abdulkadir Özgenay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedé Dionísio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Bayrampaşa32spor's Nazil Adaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Sayılgan in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Racing FC's goalkeeper Dedé Dionísio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Yaşar Toprak. Racing FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Gheorghe Nistorescu scored to the left of an out of position Dedé Dionísio, making the score, 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, Racing FC's goal looked a bit too open when Şamil Özdilek came free, but Dedé Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Yaşar Toprak made a kick off. The Racing FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dedé Dionísio should have stopped the shot. If 彭辉义 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. Darron Candido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nazil Adaş read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play.
