Erim Beşer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tan Uzlet in the 11th minute of play. Andor Szűcs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Konrad Czerniejewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute of the match, Karl-Michael Fredriksson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Konrad Czerniejewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice moves Talat Yavuzay could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Erim Beşer however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krister Törnblom got free with Erim Beşer in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Halikarnas Futbol Kulubu's goalkeeper Konrad Czerniejewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
