In the 10th minute of the match, Metehan Kuntay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erim Beşer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Metehan Kuntay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Erim Beşer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erim Beşer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çağlar Erakıncı's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Enginalp Vacit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tuğrul Özboga was relentless in the 27th minute of the game.
