In the 17th match minute, Gülce Leyla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuri Gökyüzü to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Millrick in the 20th minute. Fabio Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Adrianinho Pires made a precise shot to the right of Aykan Babür. Senator S.A.K's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Aykan Babür took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serkan Dervişoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Senator S.A.K's Fazıl Özgeer got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Fabio Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Fabio Millrick rounded Gülce Leyla's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Adrianinho Pires made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Fabio Millrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Senator S.A.K's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Millrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Senator S.A.K's Abdurrahman Tezeren got a free kick in the 60th minute. Aykan Babür showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunther Stub, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Fabio Millrick took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal. Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fırat Çakıroğlu in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fırat Çakıroğlu in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal saved Gülce Leyla from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Fırat Çakıroğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal. Gülce Leyla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fırat Çakıroğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 85th minute, Fırat Çakıroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After some careless play in the Gülce Leyla defense, Fırat Çakıroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal. The Gülce Leyla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Senator S.A.K fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gülce Leyla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
