Patric Bierhoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Osman Kutlar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Yavuz Selimhan Gulson made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Mehmet Osman Kutlar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Faruk Tansu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Faruk Tansu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Ali Faruk Tansu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timur Sarphan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Yavuz Selimhan Gulson 23 minutes into the match. Yavuz Selimhan Gulson made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Mehmet Osman Kutlar sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Patric Bierhoff notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Doğanyurt FK's Bülent Sebati. Bülent Sebati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patric Bierhoff scored 1-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bülent Sebati, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

With his leg Bülent Sebati managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when FC KALELİ's Patric Bierhoff fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Bierhoff in the 93rd minute of play forced Doğanyurt FK's goalkeeper Bülent Sebati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Doğanyurt FK defense, Patric Bierhoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bülent Sebati. The Doğanyurt FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bülent Sebati should have stopped the shot. FC KALELİ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
