Cihangir Onsoy started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Çınar Başkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Ozan Tuyuğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çınar Başkurt's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Arif Ozan Tuyuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bumin Onursev, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Demirspor's Arif Ozan Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihangir Onsoy in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emirhan Tuney got free with Anatole Nielispach in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arif Ozan Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bumin Onursev in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çınar Başkurt in the 16th minute of play forced Demirspor's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Ozan Tuyuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cihangir Onsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demirspor's Arif Ozan Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suelo Montana in the 20th minute of play. Lei Wei Bang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatole Nielispach having to interfere. Emirhan Tuney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Anatole Nielispach made a huge save. In the 34th minute Emirhan Tuney suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Savaşer Ayana charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Savaşer Ayana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Palestine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Savaşer Ayana to maneuver through the defense. Demirspor's Arif Ozan Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bumin Onursev in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çınar Başkurt in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arif Ozan Tuyuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aldo Negrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Bumin Onursev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bumin Onursev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lei Wei Bang to make the kick off. After 53 minutes Palestine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ege Gayret who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Demirspor's Garip Kalagay got a free kick in the 54th minute. Demirspor's Arif Ozan Tuyuğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Demirspor from getting a goal against them. Arif Ozan Tuyuğ made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cihangir Onsoy sent off a good shot on target. But to his dismay, Lei Wei Bang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Demirspor made a substitution. Ali Ömer Işınsu replaced Charles Engström. 1-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Cihangir Onsoy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 88th minute Ali Ömer Işınsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatole Nielispach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Ali Ömer Işınsu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Demirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Arif Ozan Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarık Tayfun in the 94th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
