Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batuhan Bilgin in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukáš Bendl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lukáš Bendl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Harendarski in the 9th minute of play. AtletikEdirne's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bora Han Öğün in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Bora Han Öğün got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lukáš Bendl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12thth minute of the game Müfit İzmirli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AtletikEdirne's Ünal Akbel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, AHM&NRY's Ünal Akbel threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yaman Kökşin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Müfit İzmirli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. AHM&NRY's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 20 minutes into the game, AtletikEdirne's Gilbert Harendarski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lukáš Bendl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to AtletikEdirne getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bora Han Öğün hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, AHM&NRY's goal looked a bit too open when Batuhan Bilgin came free, but Lukáš Bendl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukáš Bendl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yattara Usluer in the 34th minute of play. Tolga Ula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ünal Akbel having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Tolga Ula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, AtletikEdirne's Ünal Akbel got control of the ball when Müfit İzmirli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukáš Bendl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Harendarski in the 44th minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Mustafa Necati Cezar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AHM&NRY and the AtletikEdirne players grew even worse after the yellow card. AtletikEdirne's Ahmet Ceyhan Rikap was substituted for Gilbert Harendarski. The supporters of AtletikEdirne booed when AHM&NRY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Necati Cezar didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batuhan Bilgin was the one to do the kick off. Ünal Akbel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müfit İzmirli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on AHM&NRY's corner Mustafa Necati Günden fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ünal Akbel quite easily take care of the ball. When AHM&NRY's Tolga Ula in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AtletikEdirne's goalie prevented a goal. If Tolga Ula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rios Ferdinand's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lukáš Bendl firmly grabbed it by the left post. AHM&NRY's Lukáš Bendl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save AHM&NRY from getting a goal against them. The supporters of AHM&NRY booed when AtletikEdirne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yattara Usluer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AtletikEdirne's Yattara Usluer got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Mustafa Necati Cezar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Batuhan Bilgin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 played minutes AHM&NRY got a freekick which was hit by Bahadırhan Özkan. Mustafa Necati Cezar hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Bora Han Öğün received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lukáš Bendl came out and tried to block the shot, but Bora Han Öğün slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 79th minute. Ahmet Ceyhan Rikap might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukáš Bendl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Ceyhan Rikap ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, AHM&NRY's goalkeeper Lukáš Bendl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Ceyhan Rikap. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Cannon in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ünal Akbel saved AtletikEdirne from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bora Han Öğün in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukáš Bendl saved AHM&NRY from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AtletikEdirne eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
