The audience thought a goal was coming when Okan Golovichev got free with Yaşar Gazzali in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yaşar Gazzali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Golovichev in the 5th minute of play. Okan Golovichev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Yaşar Gazzali made a huge save. Okan Golovichev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yaşar Gazzali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Yaşar Gazzali was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Okan Golovichev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, ERFI FK's Jim Hultstrand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 20th minute Mahmut Dağasan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Karapinar's Okan Golovichev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yaşar Gazzali. That made the score 2-1 after 23 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Okan Golovichev took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Yaşar Gazzali to make any attempt to save it. Okan Golovichev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Yaşar Gazzali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Karapinar's Okan Golovichev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yaşar Gazzali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by ERFI FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Çağdaş Ersayın was slow to take the kick. During this time Karapinar's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Tommy Bogren managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 35 minutes into the match, Karapinar's Okan Golovichev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yaşar Gazzali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yaşar Gazzali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Okan Golovichev in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Karapinar's Okan Golovichev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. After having played for 42 minutes, Okan Golovichev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karapinar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okan Golovichev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

ERFI FK's Yaşar Gazzali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okan Golovichev in the 52nd minute of play. Ali Numan Sabri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marcus Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Karapinar's Okan Golovichev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yaşar Gazzali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 59 minutes into the match, Okan Golovichev notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of ERFI FK's Yaşar Gazzali. Yaşar Gazzali was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Numan Sabri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match ERFI FK got a corner. Karapinar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mahmut Dağasan ran over to the corner to take the kick. ERFI FK were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Karapinar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mahmut Dağasan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Yiğit Arkın got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus Mazza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcus Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmut Dağasan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahmut Dağasan. Ali Baran Talayman got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Karapinar booed when ERFI FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Baran Talayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Karapinar's Okan Golovichev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yaşar Gazzali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Camilo Palos charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Palos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Karapinar getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Camilo Palos hit a great ball. Okan Golovichev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yaşar Gazzali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. With an all-out effort, ERFI FK's Marcus Mazza threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Numan Sabri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. ERFI FK made a substitution. Sertel Boranalp replaced Mahmut Dağasan. 93 minutes in the game Sertel Boranalp did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Yiğit Arkın. Okan Golovichev took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yaşar Gazzali. Yaşar Gazzali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1.
