Mehmet Ali Tanman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gafur Salim's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gafur Salim in the 9th minute of play forced Hacılar Erciyesspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Ali Tanman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hacılar Erciyesspor's Mehmet Ali Tanman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gafur Salim in the 15th minute of play. Mehmet Ali Tanman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gafur Salim in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Vince Bentham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ali Tanman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SOMA-Anadolu Ateşi's Ahmet Hayri Hatipoğlu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Zbyszko Okraszewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oğuzhan Kakisim went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mehmet Ali Tanman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Elivareo in the 39th minute of the match. When SOMA-Anadolu Ateşi's Teo Elivareo, in the 40th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SOMA-Anadolu Ateşi. Mehmet Ali Tanman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gafur Salim in the 44th minute of play. Mehmet Ali Tanman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gafur Salim, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Egil Gjerløw hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 50th minute of the match SOMA-Anadolu Ateşi got a corner. Hacılar Erciyesspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Vefik Pınarbaşı ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SOMA-Anadolu Ateşi's Ahmet Vefik Pınarbaşı to fire away a dangerous shot which Mehmet Ali Tanman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gafur Salim to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Teo Elivareo could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Mehmet Ali Tanman however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th minute, Hacılar Erciyesspor's Haşmet Ekemen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Haşmet Ekemen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hacılar Erciyesspor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Haşmet Ekemen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 79th minute, one of Hacılar Erciyesspor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hacılar Erciyesspor. Hacılar Erciyesspor's Gustavo Enekoitz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ahmet Hayri Hatipoğlu, made in the 86th minute of the game. Mehmet Ali Tanman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gafur Salim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Hayri Hatipoğlu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Vince Bentham's late challenge caught a Hacılar Erciyesspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vince Bentham helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SOMA-Anadolu Ateşi getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Vince Bentham hit a great ball. Hacılar Erciyesspor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SOMA-Anadolu Ateşi for a fine match.
