Yaser Oğuzman kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Turgut Süngü managed to get in a good position for a shot. Not Today's supporters rose to their feet, but Turgut Süngü was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Sharma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Blue Mountain State's Hong Shi Wei slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Güner Uludoğan. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merih Bengi in the 37th minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Verdonckt charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierre Verdonckt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Pierre Verdonckt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41stth minute of the game Karol Panasewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Not Today's Güner Uludoğan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Güner Uludoğan made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Karol Panasewicz sent off a good shot on target. Robin Sharma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merih Bengi in the 44th minute of play. Güner Uludoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Burualla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karol Panasewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robin Sharma made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Merih Bengi sent off a good shot on target. Güner Uludoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Karol Panasewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Güner Uludoğan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Not Today made a substitution. Mehmet Hamdi Tekiner replaced Gökcan İstemihan. Blue Mountain State made a substitution. Luis Vázquez replaced Hong Shi Wei. Blue Mountain State made a substitution. The Not Today fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güner Uludoğan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Fetor in the 82nd minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Not Today's Güner Uludoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 84th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Not Today's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Vázquez came free, but Güner Uludoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Vázquez scored 6-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güner Uludoğan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blue Mountain State's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
