Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) West Buckland FC's Sanad Shams started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Motlaq Dashtis short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Shaheen Al Khobaize to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Gibrel Al Dekhel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, West Buckland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khaled Al Dabos to maneuver through the defense. Shaheen Al Khobaize was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manaf Al Sharah. In the 22nd minute, Motlaq Dashti made a precise shot to the right of Shaheen Al Khobaize. West Buckland FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanad Shams in the 27th minute of play forced Moretonhampstead's goalkeeper Hani Al Ansari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gibrel Al Dekhel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamed Taqi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes West Buckland FC got a freekick which was hit by Mostafa Al Homaithe. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gibrel Al Dekhel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaheen Al Khobaize having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, West Buckland FC's Hamed Taqi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hani Al Ansari was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gibrel Al Dekhel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Shaheen Al Khobaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gibrel Al Dekhel struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Shaheen Al Khobaize didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moretonhampstead. 76 minutes into the match, West Buckland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Motlaq Dashti came free, but Shaheen Al Khobaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Motlaq Dashti suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yaqoub Al Saleh during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Moretonhampstead a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manaf Al Sharah, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of West Buckland FC's Shaheen Al Khobaize. 2-1. In the 83rd minute, Gibrel Al Dekhel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gibrel Al Dekhel in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shaheen Al Khobaize saved West Buckland FC from getting behind. After having played for 86 minutes, Oun Al Attar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moretonhampstead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oun Al Attar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manaf Al Sharah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shaheen Al Khobaize. West Buckland FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Moretonhampstead walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
